Articles :: Web Development :: There are no w3c compliant e-commerce sites
written by Toby Miller on December 4, 2007 December 4, 2007 I have been searching all over the web and so far I haven't found a single e-commerce website that is fully W3C compliant. Using these very simple rules I started evaluating and adding websites using Firebug and Alexa:
- Website must have a shopping cart (splash screens were skipped to get to a shopping page when necessary)
- Website must have an alexa ranking
I want to say that I'm shocked by this ... but I'm really not which is the bad part. Not a single compliant e-commerce website? Come On!
If you have others that you'd like to see added to the pool let me know.
